Already Have a TruMerit Account? Here’s What You Need To Do
Step 1: Update Your Login Information
Set your email address as your username, reset your password and set your security questions. The rest of your information will remain the same and existing orders are unaffected by the portal improvements. See detailed steps below.
How to update your login information:
- Click here to open the login page (select Login)
- Enter your email address. Click “Send Code.” If there’s already an account linked to your email, you will then be asked for your password.
- Check your email for a message with a link and security code.
- Click the link and enter the security code. Click “Submit.”
- Finish updating your account:
- Enter your Demographic Information.
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
- Choose security questions and answers.
- Create a new password.
- Log into the improved TruMerit Connect using your new login information.
Step 2: Complete Your Applicant Profile
We’re excited to announce a new feature in the TruMerit Connect portal: My Profile. Completing your profile makes it easy to see which TruMerit services you are eligible for and helps us provide you with timely assistance. To access your profile:
- Log in to your TruMerit Connect account after following the steps above.
- Select the “My Profile” tab from the top menu.
- Fill in or update the requested information.
- Review and submit your completed profile.
Your existing account information will carry over to your new profile, but to get the most out of your new Profile, you may need to provide additional information that was not previously required. Keep your profile up to date to ensure we are using the correct information while working your file.
Step 3: Purchase and Apply for TruMerit Services
Completing your profile is the first step toward applying for a TruMerit service. You will then need to select the Shopping Cart from your dashboard menu to purchase an order for the service you need. After purchase, you will receive all the forms and detailed instructions to complete your order.

New Authorized Agent Portal
The Authorized Agent Portal is a dedicated site for Authorized Agents to manage relationships with all applicants who have formally acknowledged them as their Authorized Agent.
