How long does the Credentials Verification Service for New York State take?

Beginning December 1, 2025, applicants have up to 12 months from the date their order is placed to complete the Credentials Verification Service for New York state process.

Once all required documentation has been received and successfully validated, TruMerit prepares the Credentials Verification Service Report and submits it to the New York State Education Department for review.
