PHILADELPHIA, September 29, 2026 — TruMerit®, a global leader in the assessment and credentialing of healthcare professionals and global workforce development, announced three senior leadership appointments that strengthen the organization’s ability to support healthcare professionals, partners, and health systems in a rapidly changing global environment.
Alfredo Heraldez has joined TruMerit as Chief International Compliance and Sanctions Officer; Faith Nawagi, PhD, MIPH, RN, BSN, has joined as Chief, Global Health Workforce Development Institute; and Hajo Oltmanns serves as Chief Innovation and Partnerships Officer.
Together, they bring expertise across international compliance, health workforce development, education, innovation, and global partnerships. Their leadership will help TruMerit expand solutions that support the education, development, mobility, and recognition of healthcare professionals while strengthening the systems and partnerships that enable them to contribute wherever their skills are needed.

Alfredo Heraldez
Chief International Compliance and Sanctions Officer
As TruMerit’s Chief International Compliance and Sanctions Officer, Heraldez leads the organization’s international compliance and sanctions strategy, helping TruMerit operate effectively and responsibly across an increasingly complex global regulatory environment.
He brings more than 20 years of legal experience, including 18 years as in-house counsel for public and private multinational corporations. Most recently with Mary Kay Global, Heraldez advised business leaders on international trade, compliance and sanctions, complex transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and business development. He also brings expertise in emerging legal and technology issues, including artificial intelligence and intellectual property.
His leadership will support TruMerit’s continued global growth while helping ensure that its programs, partnerships, and services operate within evolving international regulatory frameworks.
Faith Nawagi, PhD, MIPH, RN, BSN
Chief, Global Health Workforce Development Institute
As Chief of TruMerit’s Global Health Workforce Development Institute, Nawagi leads efforts to strengthen health professions education and build sustainable health workforce capacity globally.
She brings more than a decade of experience in health workforce development, education, accreditation, and research. Most recently, Nawagi served as Africa Regional Representative for Intealth, including ECFMG and FAIMER, where she led and supported health professions education, accreditation, and workforce development initiatives across Africa.
In her new role, she will help advance solutions that strengthen education and workforce capacity while creating pathways for healthcare professionals and institutions to respond to changing community and health system needs.
Hajo Oltmanns
Chief Innovation and Partnerships Officer
As TruMerit’s Chief Innovation and Partnerships Officer, Oltmanns leads the organization’s innovation and partnership strategy, bringing together organizations, ideas, and solutions to address healthcare workforce needs.
He brings more than 15 years of international experience across healthcare, higher education, and workforce development. Prior to TruMerit, Oltmanns held senior leadership roles at Chamberlain University and Elsevier, where he led growth, workforce partnership, and clinical solutions initiatives. Earlier in his career, he was a strategy consultant at Boston Consulting Group.
His leadership will focus on developing partnerships and innovative approaches that expand opportunities for healthcare professionals and help organizations build stronger, more adaptable workforces.
